2022 An editorial commission from Yorkshire Agricultural Society documenting a year in Regenerative Agriculture at Angus Gowthorpe's Approach Farm near York. Regenerative Agriculture is a farming and grazing practice that helps to reverse climate change by rebuilding soil organic matter and restoring degraded soil biodiversity. This results in both carbon drawdown and an improved water cycle. The practice leads to healthy soil capable of producing high quality, nutrient dense food while simultaneously improving the land and ultimately leading to productive farms and healthy communities and economies.
