Photography Note

The photographs were taken using Nikon D6 cameras with Nikon AF-S 35mm f/1.4G and AF-S 24-120mm f/4G VR lenses. The RAW files were ingested to and processed in Adobe Lightroom.

 

This shoot was originally a stand-alone documentary project but colour images from the series were later included in The North Revisited project. 

 

The series was first published on the f/8 Documentary Group Instagram account to coincide with Addiction Awareness Week (23-30 November 2025) - an initiative of The Forward Trust - supported by HRH The Princess of Wales who is also patron of the Royal Photographic Society.
