Kill the Bill, London
Saturday 3 April 2021 Protesters rallied in central London and many other cities in England and Wales against the Police, Crime, Sentencing and Courts Bill which passed its second reading in Parliament last month. Opponents of the Bill have described it as an attack on the legitimate right to protest and an erosion of personal freedoms. Jeremy Corbyn, former leader of the Labour party, addressed the crowd: “I want to live in a world of peace and justice, I want to live in a world of human rights and democracy, and I’m prepared to make people feel uncomfortable in the process.”
